  • Compare one thing with another in the following ways: a) Use the grammatical structure ' A + 比 + B + Adjective ' to compare one thing with another. b) Use the grammatical structure ' A + 没有 + B + Adjective ' to express that one thing is not as Adjective (e.g. short) as something else. c) Use the grammatical structure ' A + 比 + B + Adjective + 得多/一点儿/一些 ' to express that one thing is as Adjective (e.g. shorter) as another to a certain level.

  • Use the pattern ' ... 的时候’ to indicate ‘when something happened’ or ‘during a particular time’ with the grammatical structure ' Subject+Verb/Number-Measure word + 的时候 '.

  • Use the pattern ' ..., 好吗? ' to ask about a person’s idea about something.
